Who we are
About the Benjamin Olowojebutu Foundation (BOF)
Vision Born from Compassion, Guided by Experience
The Benjamin Olowojebutu Foundation (BOF) is an impact-driven non-profit founded by Dr. Benjamin Oluwatosin Adesoji Olowojebutu, Executive Director and visionary behind more than 5,000 life-changing surgeries performed for those who cannot afford care.
BOF’s mission is rooted in compassion—bringing free and subsidized surgical care, health screenings, and medical outreach programs directly to underserved communities across Nigeria. From fibroids and lipomas to breast lumps, hernias, and hypertension screenings, the Foundation operates with dignity, empathy, and precision.

BOF dares to imagine a future where:
-
No woman dies from a fibroid because she couldn't pay for surgery
-
No child lives in pain from a condition that could be removed in minutes
-
No family loses a loved one simply because there was no clinic in sight
-
Every person, regardless of status, is treated with dignity, compassion, and medical excellence
Our work is guided by this vision every day—from the streets of Lagos to remote villages, from hospital wards to open fields where we set up mobile theatres. We are building not just a foundation, but a movement—powered by love, service, and an unwavering belief in healing without borders.
Seeing a Future Where Healing Knows No Boundaries.
At the Benjamin Olowojebutu Foundation (BOF), we envision a world where healthcare is not determined by wealth, status, or location, but is a universal right for all. Our vision is bold yet simple:
to eliminate the barriers that prevent underserved individuals from receiving the care they urgently need.
In countless rural and urban communities across Africa, people live in silent suffering from treatable conditions like fibroids, breast lumps, hernias, and chronic illnesses—not due to complexity, but because they cannot afford care or access it.
Because when healing knows no boundaries, humanity thrives.
We're on a Mission to Heal, Uplift and Empower.
At the Benjamin Olowojebutu Foundation (BOF), our mission is simple yet powerful:
To provide free, high-quality surgical care and essential health services to underserved individuals, especially women, across Africa.
We believe that access to healthcare is a basic human right, not a luxury—so we go to where the need is greatest, restoring health and hope one person at a time.
